I'm based in Dublin and I‘ve been singing at funeral masses for many years now. I’m privileged to be part of this important sacrament and I always endeavour to perform with sincerity and compassion.

When bereaved music can be uplifting and a great source of comfort and consolation, it can also express how we feel more than words.

The blessing usually takes place on the evening before the funeral mass and is a short service. It can be very comforting to the family to have music performed in the background as the congregation pay their respects by lining up to shake hands.
